Presidential Address - 6pm my time (15 min from now)
So there is a presidential address right away, what do you bet it's about Iraq? I'm thinking the UN won't need to vote RE: Iraqi compliance...

Maybe we'll luck out and he will annouce his resignation...
Even my old man (career US military and diehard Republican) is questioning Bush's military plans.

You do not have to be for or against the President's party to support or be against his policies. The two are not actually related.

I just saw the report Blix and the IAEA gave to the UN. They practically called bush a liar and I don't blame them for doing so.
Whatever proposals the US had for a military invasion are over, the UN will never support an attack.

Not according to Bush's speech Last night. He stated that he intends to invade regardless of what the UN says.

With the troop concentration the US has in the area, and with election next year.
There will be a war disregarding what the UN or my countryman Blix says.

It will not cost the Republicans everything. There are plenty of people that would support the war. Not everyone is against it.

Iggiboo: I'm still hoping for Ross Perot! Then you guys can have a president as pathetic as our prime minister... or for a higher profile comparison, how about Jaques Chirac?

Re: Presidential Address - 6pm my time (15 min from now)
I will never support a president whom has a name reminding me of jock straps.
Also, I think the Republicans have a lot to loose. Should this war Last longer than a week, exceed 50 US casualties, and result in massive civilian deaths, then the republicans can kiss any real power they have good bye. The economy is in shambles and nothing is being done about it. Hell, bush even shows up late and jokes about it when he has to attend an economic summit.
Give us Jobs, Give us work. Build, Expand, Create. Those are weapons against terrorism, not rampant fears and blind threats.
