How do you create troops? using the demo

Research Construction, and then Troops. Researching Small Weapons gives smaller Versions of normal weapons that fit on troops. Researching Troop Weapons gives you Ground Cannons, which, aside from Small Electric Discharges (for Organic races), are the best troop weapons. Then, you need to design some in the design window. Once you have done this, you can build them on any planet.
