My ship/unit designs are NOT appearing ...

... in subsequent games.

During the game - I save all my ship and unit designs to my emp file.

Today - I started a new game and ALL the designs were gone!

Fhut the whuk?

They will not display until you have the appropriate tech levels!

Are they appearing in the Design Window? Usually, they appear there, and are greyed out until you get the requisite technology to build them. Greyed out ships do not appear in the SY queues.

There's NOTHING, NADA, ZIFT, BUPKIS -- gray, white, green or purple. ALL designs are gone whereas in a previous game they showed - whether grayed out or not.

BTW - in the the normal state-of-affairs in the design window - they all show whether you can build them or not. But now they're all gone out of the design window.

Elowan, when you set up new game, did you click
"save empire" in race set-up window ?

If you did, all designs will disappear. They are saved in emp. file only when you save empire after the game started. Saving in set-up window cleares all, EVEN if you click "keep designs" option. Must be a bug, but it is how it works.
