Mod Picker Question
With SE IV Mod Picker Util. v. 2.01, I can't get the game to launch, no matter what I select. I hilight None and click Play SEIV--nothing. I hilight Scenario Pack and click Play SEIV--nothing. This utility seems like it would be cool...IF it worked!!! HELP!

Re: Mod Picker Question
First Guess:
The mod picker probably need to be told the path to get to SE4.EXE
I believe there is a browse button you can use

Re: Mod Picker Question
Make sure that the <modpicker>.exe file (I forget the actual filename) is in the same directory as the SE4.exe file (and by extension, the path.txt file).
If that doesn't work... pray a lot!

Re: Mod Picker Question
I've never been able to get the ModPicker to load a saved game directly; I always have to hit "Play SE IV" and load the save from the opening screen.
When I try to enter a player number, nothing I type appears in the box.

Re: Mod Picker Question
Load saved game seem to work only with simultaneous multiplayer games (pbw). I think that is a limit of the game command lines and not of the launcher.

Re: Mod Picker Question
You have to highlight the spaces in the Player Number box and delete them before you type in your number.

Aha! I would never have though to try that; thanks.

Re: Mod Picker Question
No problem! That confused the heck out of me when I first used the program.

Yes you can, I do it all the time. Well, not ALL the time, since I play PBW more than single player anymore, but still...

Re: Mod Picker Question
Dumbluck:
I believe he is referring to the sequential-turn games loaded from command prompts.
