Odd Random Event Bug

I had one of those random events which transport a ship clear across the galaxy. It took one of my ships which was part of a fleet; but when it did, it deleted the fleet (which was up around 20% experience). The ships were still there, but the fleet was gone. I sent an email to MM, but I wondered if anyone else has seen this? I'm running Gold.

One other question. If I have a treaty of T&R with an empire, and for whatever reason we downgrade it to a simple Trade Alliance, the percentage of trade drops back to zero again. When you upgrade (i.e., from Trade to T&R), the trade percentage stays the same. Is this a bug, or was this intentional?
