Ukrainian Marine Corps
Ukrainian Marines were part of the navy until May 2023 but since then they are as separate Service Command
Either way there have been Ukrainian Marines since Ukraine's inception
We don't have them in the OOB and I want to change that.
I have found a very little bit of info on unit structure that would be applicable to the game but "little" is the most important part of that sentance
If anyone finds anything, post a link. Platoon and Company structure is all we need
This is as close to anything that I have found and it's not much and nothing to do with Marines

Re: Ukrainian Marine Corps
At a guess they're nothing more then army troops with amphibious training and MAYBE amphibious vehicles (probably former Soviet) replacing those normally used.
I can't find a thing about them either.

Re: Ukrainian Marine Corps
I found the following:
In the Equipment and armament Marine Corps Ukraine section it lists some equipment types.
https://www.globalsecurity.org/milit...l-infantry.htm
There is barely anything out there.

What was interesting about

was the subtle differences between the three squads in the mech plt
all have a RPG
two have a sniper
only one has a MG but it also has a sniper
all have one rifle that is GL capable
Roughly
Squad one is "medium" and does have a sniper
Squad two is "Heavy" as it has the MG
Squad three is " light" as it does not have a sniper
The issue as always is getting that to work with the 4 slots
(1)
Rifle
RPG
GL
Sniper
(2)
Rifle
LMG
RPG
Sniper
(3)
Rifle
RPG
GL
...... theoretical ATM

Re: Ukrainian Marine Corps
So go with that for now. Update once something more concrete comes to light if it ever does.

Re: Ukrainian Marine Corps
SOP
Looking at this ......
Organization 2023
On 23 May 2023 the Marine Corps, after more than three decades, had its status elevated to that of a service branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the new status the Marine Corps' brigades and pre-war battalions received new coat of arms effective July.
According to MilitaryLand.net each marine brigade is organized into the following:
Headquarters and Service Company
three to 4 marine battalions (one air assault capable)
Marine Tank Battalion
Marine Artillery Regiment
with a HQ and Service Battery, target acquisition unit, two self-propelled artillery battalions, an optional one or two towed field artillery battalion/s, a rocket artillery battalion and an anti-tank battalion (otherwise under direct brigade control)
Marine Air Defense Artillery battalion
Marine Brigade Force reconnaisance company
Marine combat engineer battalion
Marine logistics battalion
Marine maintenance battalion
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) company
signal company
air-defense radar company
medical company
Military Police company
CBRN defense company
Marine Brigade Band
The UKRMC is equipped with the following vehicles:
- T-64, T-72, T-80, PT-91 Twardy main battle tanks in Marine Tank Battalions
- AMX-10 RC wheeled light tanks/armored reconnaissance vehicles in Marine Tank Battalions and Marine Reconnaissance
- FV101 Scorpion tracked light tanks/armored reconnaissance vehicles in Marine Tank Battalions and Marine Reconnaissance
- BMP-1, BMP-2, BMP-3 tracked infantry fighting vehicles in tracked Marine Battalions and Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions
- BTR-3, BTR-4, KTO Rosomak wheeled infantry fighting vehicles in wheeled Marine Battalions and Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions
- BTR-60, BTR-70, BTR-80, BTR-7, VAB, Patria Pasi wheeled armored personnel carriers in wheeled Marine Battalions and Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions
- MT-LB, PTS series (PTS-2 and PTS-3) and M113 tracked armored personnel carriers in tracked Marine Battalions and Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions
- Bandvagn 206 articulated tracked armored personnel carriers in tracked Marine Battalions
- BRDM-2 armored scout cars, some on tank destroyer configuration, in Marine Battalions
- Bushmaster, Cougar, Mastiff, International MaxxPro, BMC Kirpi MRAPs in wheeled Marine Battalions, Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions and Marine Reconnaissance
- Humvees, GAZ Tiger, Roshel Senators, Varta, ATF Dingo and Novator armored cars and mobility vehicles in wheeled Marine Battalions, Marine Assault Amphibian Battalions and Marine Reconnaissance
- It is also equipped with the following field artillery systems in the Marine Artillery Battalions:
- Maritime Brimstone tactical ballistic missiles
- RK-360MC Nepture, Harpoon (MOBA) and RBS-17 Hellfire anti-ship missiles
- BM-21 Grad, BM-21 Verba, BM-27 Uragan, BM-27 Burevyi, M142 HIMARS, RM-70, S-8 multiple launch rocket systems
- 2S1 Gvozdika, 2S3 Akatsiya, 152mm SpGH DANA self-propelled artillery howitzers
- D-30, D-20, 2A65 Msta-B, 2A36 Giatsint-B, M114, M777, FH70, L119 towed howitzers
- 9K114 Shturm, 9M113 Konkurs, 2A29/MT-12 Rapira anti-tank guns
- 82 mm and 120 mm mortars
- The 7th Marine Anti-Air Defense Missile Artillery Battalion and the four brigade air defense artillery battalions are equipped with:
- 9K33 Osa, AN/TWQ-1 Avenger wheeled mobile anti-air defense short range surface-to-air missile launchers
- KS-30, AZP S-60, ZU-23-2, ZPU series towed or truck mounted short range anti-aircraft guns
They are Mech Units who get their feet wet more often
The one difference it seems is that there are no conscripts in the Marine units so that might justify a slight bump up of EXP and MOR

Re: Ukrainian Marine Corps
So that makes things a bit easier for setup, right, given that the above seems to give you a list of what they have and we already have info on what they have for the unit breakdown for mech units. Might make it easier to go forward; best to toss some examples out and we can get them a run-through or something.

Given the "quality" of their amphibious vehicles ... frequently I'm sure.

While I can't speak to the overall EXP/MOR of Ukrainian forces just having folks that have (probably) seen the elephant or at least received more training (basic and/or post basic) has to have a noticeable effect on their performance.
May I ask where you found this information? I'd like to look it over myself, and see what else may be available.
