Re: Shrapnel\'s publishing in STORES?
I think Richard thought you meant the e-stores like Bbabbages, CompUSA, Electronics Boutique... We refuse to go into these stores as it is a really bad deal for the developer.
We are however in Game and Hobby shops with our BOARD game, Lock 'N Load. We even have a few game and hobby shops that carry our software. It is just that alot of these stores don't sell software.
Hope that clarifies things some.

Re: Shrapnel\'s publishing in STORES?
Tim's correct, I was talking about traditional retail.

Shrapnel\'s publishing in STORES?
From today's press release...
Quote:
Shrapnel Games Distributing will service game and hobby shops worldwide, specifically the "mom and pop" stores rather than the large, megastores like Wal-Mart or CompUSA. The distribution arm of Shrapnel Games is currently concentrating their efforts on the distribution of Eagle and Shrapnel products, however, Shrapnel Games is very eager to add new partners with quality strategy and conflict products.
|
Does this mean we could soon be seeing games like Dominions 2, Starfury, etc. in STORES?

Does this mean we could soon be seeing games like Dominions 2, Starfury, etc. in STORES? No. We would probably never actually put out games in retail (especially in North America). Retail is a bad deal for developers.
