Headquarters menu

I'm looking at the RHS of the Headquarters menu. There are three columns immediately to the right of the command level letter. I'm struggling to work out what they mean.

For instance the first of these columns can have a R, R(in red), R(in yellow) x. x(in red).

Can someone point me to the info along the info for the other two columns please.

R means has a radio * means no radio colour denotes contact status

Other column shows unit status so lists damage either a number or its status IM = Immobilised for instance

Just to expand a little on Imp's answer:

R means has a radio * means no radio colour denotes contact status
White = In contact
Yellow = Radio contact
Red = Out of Contact

2nd column shows - = subordinate unit

3rd column = status (number = damage, KO = destroyed, IM = Immobilised, etc)
colour denotes HQ level:
Red = Battalion
Yellow = Company
Cyan = Platoon
