Clap Company B Campaign - Can't Branch to Insurgents

Hi Folks,

I finally reloaded after getting a Windows 8 machine and I found an oddity in the USMC Company B Sulu Sea campaign. On my old machine I had always played the PRC campaign so I decided to save it at the Branching Mission and play both. But whenever I pick the V-hex selecting the Insurgent branch, the AI keeps penalizing me 4000+ points for Arty Overload. Yet I was able to pick the PRC branch no problem. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks!

The OS would have no effect on how the campaign plays and to be quite honest I have never played or even loaded this campaign so I can't help you. From what I read of the first scenario description players need to choose transport but there are no points to do that.... what node is this "branching mission"?

Post the files so we can take a look at what you got. I've played this campaign without a hitch.

Is it simply that the next scenario in the insurgent campaign is defend/delay (lowering your available/allowed arty percentage) and the PRC is meeting or attacking (giving you a higher allowed artillery percentage)?

Thanks folks. Fortunately, I'm real paranoid and save my campaign at every breakpoint. I reverted back to the mission where I can pick the branch, and it seems to work. Caveat though - if I pick one branch, play it for a bit, then quit out of that mission, then reload from the branching save point, picking the other branch causes the oddity where I'm credited in Arty Overload. Quitting the game entirely to desktop, then restarting and going back, things are okay. Bizarre, but a workaround nonetheless.
