OOB File layout
I would like to update SpObedit to work with WinSPMBT & WinSPWW2. I plan to make the 3.0 version of SpObedit freeware so any help would be appreciated.

Re: OOB File layout
Why? MOBHack is light years ahead of what SPObedit ever was.

Re: OOB File layout
Which version of SpObedit are you talking about? The freeware version just had a popup dialog with buttons to display the various editor screens. The shareware version 2.14 worked with SP1, SP2, SP3 & SPWaW, allowed editing of multiple files with drag & drop copy between files, a save game manager to allow more than the two save games that SP handled with built in zip/unzip of save games and also had an LBM viewer.
I've had several people contact me recently asking for an updated version so I would like to accommodate them. Andy did a great job with MOBHACK and has had the benefit of being part of the Camo Workshop group to keep updating his program.

Re: OOB File layout
I just don't see the need to reinvent the wheel. MOBHack has the features you named, too, other than compatibility with the SSI and Matrix games.

Re: OOB File layout
One could say why have Pepsi when you have Coke or why drive a Ford rather than Chevy or use Word Perfect rather than Microsoft Word. Everyone has their own idea of what they like to use. Some people liked SpObedit or they would not have contacted me asking for an update.
I'm not reinventing the wheel, I already did that when I made a Windows version of an SP editor based off the DOS SPEDIT/SPHACK by Nick Bell, which by the way predated MOBHACK. Both Andy and I owe our original programs a big thanks to Nick since he is the one who cracked the OOB file layout to begin with.

Re: OOB File layout
Thanks Andy, this is greatly appreciated. If The Camo Workshop group needs any help I find myself with a lot of free time on my hands. I did some work with Gary on War in the East so if there is anything I do just let me know. I have all versions of Visual Studio so I have my own dev tools.

Re: OOB File layout
I would love to have the import from csv file functionality back. If you could incorporate that I would be appreciative.
