Default Slovak OOB1 errors

I found some errors in armor availability dates.

Following quotes are from "Czechoslovak Armored Fighting Vehicles 1918-1948" by Charles Kliment and Vladimir Francev.

Unit 007 Skoda Lt-vz38 (tank was actually built by CKD) with a first availability date of Jan 1943:

"Slovakia started ordering the LT-38 tanks from CKD in early 1940. The first order for ten vehicles was increased by another 20 in August 1940 and an additional seven at the beginning of 1941. In August 1940, Slovakia also bought from CKD their LTL vehicles, built for Latvia but never delivered. These were upgunned by the Skoda 3.7 cm A7 gun and were named LT-40 in Slovak service.
Both these tanks were used by the Mobile Group during the invasion of the Soviet Union. Ten LT-38s and seven LT-40s participated.....Another company with six LT-38s and six LT-40s was sent to the mobile Division in the Caucasus in October 1942. It arrived safely but during the Soviet offensive in the spring of 1943 and the subsequent retreat to hte Crimea, all the tanks but one (V-3015) were lost and abandoned."

Unit 002 Skoda LT vz.35 with last availability date of October 1943:

"At the time of the attack on the Soviet union in the summer of 1941, the Slovak Army had two companies of LT vz.35 with its Mobile Group (later Mobile Brigade), a total of 30 tanks....After all the tank units were returned to Slovakia at the end of 1941, the LT vz.35s were not deemed suitable for front line service any longer and were used for training only. This did not prevent them from participating in the Slovak National Uprising in August 1944, when quite a few of them fought bravely against the German units, either as free moving tanks, or as parts of the armored trains or dug-in fortifications."

Re LT-40: according to a comparison table in the book the main differences with the LT-38 were:

1) Three man crew.
2) Smaller overall dimensions (length/width/height in cms being 420/198/216 vs 454/214/220 for the LT-38).
3) Weight of 7.5 tons vs 9.2 for the LT-38.
4) Greater maximum speed (47 km/h vs 42)

Armament and armor were the same as the LT-38, so these can be copied from the existing unit 007.

I don't know whether it is worth adding the LT-40 (up to you to decide) but the availability dates definitely need to be fixed.

Sorry for the long post but I thought you might find it useful.

LT vz.40 was quite important Slovak tank. It was a bit different, than LT vz.38 - I'm attaching picture proposals.

One more thing:
008 Tancik vz.33 has a picture of Polish TK (same for Czechoslovak OOB)
According to a quoted book, they were used by Slovakia in a course of 1944, also during a Slovak Uprising (now ends at 10/43). It would demand changes in formations 032 to 035.
Frontal armour was 12 mm.
It's worth to change its armament to TMG, with added range (the tankettes are handicapped with BMGs only)

While I appreciate the effort be advised that I will NOT use drawings unless that is the only alternative and it is rarely the only alternative. Yes, there are indeed drawings used now in the game and when I find them, I replace them.

Pictures only (apply to both Slovak and Czechoslovak OOBs).

I'm attaching:
- LT vz.35 and LT vz.38 in original camouflage instead of German ones
- correct CKD LT vz.34 light tank (both oobs)
- correct ST vz.39 (V8H) (004 Czechoslovak oob). It's hard to find its good quality photos. BTW, an icon (the same as LT vz.38) should be changed to 469 (its relative Hungarian Turan, multi-color camo is OK).
- Avia B.71 (262 Slovak oob - now it's Spanish picture)
- Avia B.534 in Czechoslovak markings (159 Czechoslovak oob; now it has correct markings for Slovak OOB only)

ATR Team (70 in both) with 13mm Mauser should have 25583 picture (now it is PzB-39)

ATR team (71 Slovak) with Marosheck rifle (Polish wz.35 Maroszek) should have eg. 695 or 23510 picture - now it has 20mm Solothurn

Earlier I've overlooked a Tancik vz.33 with CV-33 photo (unit 255 in both)

Edit: I've put there radial-engined Avia BH-33, but Czechoslovakia (and OOB) used rather inline-engined BH.33L, like here: http://www.airwar.ru/enc/fww1/bh33.html

That's all.

Thank you for including the original photos. It makes it easier to remove poles growing out of the top of tanks when I'm dealing with an unreduced photo

Rest of simple picture issues in Czechoslovak OOB (no data changes...)

An interesting source of artillery photos is http://www.delostrelectvocsarmady191...elostrelectvo/
http://www.delostrelectvocsarmady191...-utocne-vozbe/
http://www.delostrelectvocsarmady191...elostrelectvo/
http://www.delostrelectvocsarmady191...elostrelectvo/

077 120mm Mort Sec - picture is 82mm (Soviet 120mm has 13183)

97 37mm AA-Gun - picture is German, should be Soviet 30505 or 23077

90 76mm Field Gun - picture is a short-barrel 76mm mountain gun, while main field gun was vz.30 (as weapon indicates). I'm attaching a picture. (same for units 90 and 92 in Slovak OOB, also of vz.30 FG)

91, 173 100mm Howitzer, 100mm Battery - if the weapon is vz.30, then picture should be changed from vz.14/19. Probably a correct one is 22194 (used for Slovak 100mm howitzer, although it might be 76mm). Photos of vz.30 howitzer are here http://www.delostrelectvocsarmady191...oufnice-vz_30/, but probably with withdrawn barrel.
(same for unit 91 in Slovak OOB)

93 HMG Section - picture should be Schwarzlose, eg. 20046 (same for 93 Slovak OOB)

124 Para Mortar - picture is infantry, should be 103 (Soviet 82mm) - or 13178 or 13180

174 149mm Battery - picture is Soviet 152mm - I'm attaching fine Skoda 149mm vz.37 (also Slovak OOB 174)

179, 186 122mm Bty, 122mm Howitzer - picture is Soviet FG, should be FH, eg. 11091

188 45L66 AT-Gun - picture is short-barrel, should be 29366

Icons (might be ignored):
082 47mm KPUV vz 38 - icon should be bigger, than 37 mm - eg. 55

089 76mm Inf-Gun - proper icon is 2109 (Soviet OOB)

090 76mm Field Gun - icon should be long-barrel, with an opening in a box-trail - 2116 (used also for 100mm howitzer) or 2118 looks very good

--

I'm attaching also Polish PzKpfw-IIIJ (partially obscured, but their photos are rare)
