province connections
I'm looking to start a new game on the Streamlands map, but noticed an erroneous province connection that I'd like to remove. The specific connection is between provinces 79 and 93. I can manage to add new province connections, but not remove this one. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Re: province connections
Hi, Groundworm. I assume you've been using the Dominions map editor? You can remove a province connection by holding down the Control key and clicking on the province you want to disconnect from the currently active province.
You can also use a text editor to make changes to the .map file. If you're using Windows, Notepad should work but it's not very good so I'd recommend downloading something better. Notepad++ for Windows or TextWrangler for Mac are both decent (and free).

Re: province connections
Yes, Valerius, I was using the Dominions map editor, and that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the help!

Re: province connections
Note that the Dominions 3 map editor will delete all special commands from the map, so don't use it to modify any map with scripted stuff or you'll lose that.
Easiest to do is make a copy of the map file, edit the copy, save it and then copy-paste the neighbors stuff into the actual map file.

Re: province connections
Edi- not exactly sure how to copy-paste the connections. And I'm at least somewhat certain that the map in question didn't have any scripted stuff (though how would I make certain?), so I just removed the offending connection from the map itself.

Re: province connections
You copy and paste connections by opening the map file in a text editor and then copy-pasting the province connections section.
