The joint Forces of the Army of the Czech Republic consist of:
Ground Forces,
Air Forces,
Joint Forces Support Complet.
Ground Forces consist of:
4th Rapid Deployment Brigade,
7th Mechanised Brigade,
13th Artillery Brigade,
102nd Reconnaissance Bn.
4th Rapid Deployment Brigade consists of:
41st Mechanised Bn (1st Co partially filled with airborne qwualified, 2nd Co standard mech, 3rd Co has no.3 Plt from Volunteer Active Reserves. Mortar Bty 12x120mm towed mortar) being converted from BVP-2s to Pandur IIs,
42nd Mechanised Bn (in transfer from BVP to Pandur),
43rd Airborne Mechanised Bn (Light unit, armed with Land Rover 130 Kajman partly armored vehicles, partly jump qualified),
44th Light Motorised Bn (Light infantry unit).
7th Mechanised Brigade consists of:
71st Mechanised Bn (BVP-2),
72nd Mechanised Bn (BVP-2, mortar battery operated 9 120mm self-propelled PRAM mortars),
73rd Tank Bn (companies 1. - 3. active duty T-72M4, 2. and 3. partly filled, no.4 company is Mechanised, and an Active Reserve T-72M1 company is attached),
74th Light Motorised Bn.
Other Ground Forces units consists of:
13th artillery Brigade (152mm DANA SP howitzer, RM-70 MRL),
102nd Reconnaissance Bn (Light company will switch from light vehicles to Pandur II, Heavy co. operates BVP-2 instead of BPzV)
