Range 1 summon
If your caster does a range 1 summon while he's completely surrounded by support troops (nothing within range 5-6 radius open ) where does the summon appear?

Re: Range 1 summon
Not sure exactly how it's worked out, but range doesn't make any difference on summons anyway. So basically the closest place that there's a gap, afaik.

Re: Range 1 summon
Indeed, with skelespam going on I sometimes got skeletons summoned inside the fort I was storming due the battlefield being so choked full of troops and the mages in the mid-front.

I was hoping that was the case. I'm attempting to have living earth manifest inside the walls instead of useless milling about outside a choked enterance. We'll see. Thank you both.

The opposing (besieged) force was small enough that the living earth did not trigger. I will post here if I get it to fire off.
Castle storming can be soooo frustrating. It would be nice to see a guide on both castle storming and defending.

Re: Range 1 summon
Flying units for attack, aoe units for defending (IE a bunch of fire elms/poison area monsters).
