Default Questions on domes

From what I found here in the forum it would seem, same dome types are not stackable for protetcion purposes although they stay, i.e only one protection check, and if one dome is destroyed the others stay.

1- It follows that I can stack different type domes so if the first type dome check fails the second may save me etc?

2- Is there a way to see what domes are present in an enemy province without having to trying to throw a spell at it first? would a spy show this?

3- Anything that can be done if an enemy throws Flames from the Sky and you have not got a dome?

1. Yep.

2. Battle in the province - they show up as battlefield enchantments.

3. Fire resistance?

Hehe... no such thing as a ritual type spell to protect from fire?

Maybe it was just luck but with darkness on enemies ranged ritual did less damage; at least leprosy , fires from afar, beckoning killed less soldier the turn darknes was up then when it wasn't.
Not sure if darkness and ritual are linked but i think so.
Still darkess is a bit extreme to cast only to protect your units.

Nah, Utterdark won't change anything with that. Leprosy is MR roll. Beckoning too. Fires hit random units with damage +- DRN. Utterdark decreases income by 90%, precision by 75%, def&att by 50%.
