Mod question CBM1.44
In CBM 1.44 the EA argatha boulder throwers aren't very effective. The boulders they throw have a max damage of one.
Why would that be?

Re: Mod question CBM1.44
That's a modding quirk. The vanilla boulders can parried by shields which is quite unthematic when you think about it. So, In CBM the boulder has secondaryeffect "boulder" which does the real damage. the max dam 1 attack might be parried, but the secondaryattack won't. Tyr them out on the battlefield and see for yourself.
Now that were talking about DBM, is there a list anywhere what monsternumbers/weaponnumbers(etc... does it use? I didn't find anything on the mod readme file.

Re: Mod question CBM1.44
Burnsaber, I posted an awk script on the Mod tools thread some time ago which does exactly that, find out which ID numbers are being added in mods. This is what it prints out for CBcomplete_1.41.dm:
Code:
Monster IDs: 2800,2802-2806,2808-2816,2818-2821,2823-2824,2826-2840,2842-2845,2846,2850-2851,2877-2883,2888,2891-2892
Weapon IDs: 659,708-711,751-757,768-771
Armor IDs: 252-265,380-382

Re: Mod question CBM1.44
Also,
The next version of cCBM will remove a lot of old ages from many mages that it seems unthematic. So far I have removed from some of the Abysias, and a couple of other nations.
If you have suggestions as to which nations should have old age removed, I'd be happy to read 'em. Saves research time. However, nations that I perceive as strong (Niefle, Hinnom, Sauromatia etc), MP game play trumps theme - they won't be getting old age removed.

Re: Mod question CBM1.44
PLEASE call it something other than cCBM Chris. chrisCBM would be fine. Or chrisMod or something. As it is it's massively confusing.

- Download Gnu AWK from http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/gawk.htm
- Put it in the same directory like the awk scripts
- Run "gawk -f script.awk INPUTFILE"
