Mechwarriors?
Do you think that is possible to insert Mechwarrior models into the OOB? Shouldn't be hard to model the weapons and armor, but not so sure about the graphic model.
think is possible?
Of course I'm thinkin into WW2 style mechwarriors, more a antiinfantry weapon than a armor behemoth

Someone could probably make some cutesy little robot models, but the weapon systems etc for the mechwarrior sci-fi universe (lasers etc) are not modelled.

Re: Mechwarriors?
There are some Manga comics that mix real life with Scifi, using Mechs during WW2, of course they use the available weapons for the era, like Recolies guns ( as rifles ), HMG, Flame trhowers...
So we have the weapons modeled, now need to understand how to create and add those graphics and new units

And let's not forget miniature games like Gear Kreig, Secrets of the Third Reich, and AEWII.

The graphics can be done. I have seen others do Naval and some other stuff. Its not a project to be taken lightly. Then its probably matter of clearing out the OOB's and weapons data and starting from scratch to try and model the new data.
You would likely need a pretty large team willing to work together to make it through to the end.

Re: Mechwarriors?
Also, you might want to model the terrain effects a bit differently for walkers than for wheeled/tracked vehicles.

I'd say the Icons would be the easy bit.
