This is a question for anyone who worked on the SPR Russian OOB
I've been working through my list of potential OOB corrections and I am dealing with issues regarding the SU-100 at the moment
During this process I had occasion to look at the armour ratings given to the SU-100 in the SPR version of the Russian MBT OOB and I think perhaps that whoever altered the armour ratings for that vehicle ( and perhaps many others ) in that OOB has made errors in assuming how armour is calculated in the game and I'll use two examples to illustrate this.
The Su-100 has front armour of between 75mm and 78 mm (depending on the source of the information but either value is equal in game terms ) That armour is angled at 50 degrees. The armour on the side of the superstructure is 45mm thick and is angled at 20 degrees.
This information is available in a number of places including
"The Russian Battlefield"
In the SPR OOB the front hull/superstructure armour for a SU-100 is rated at 20/22 and the hull side superstructure armour is rated at 10. This is nowhere near correct for that amount of armour at those angles and I am interested to find out how those numbers were arrived at.
