Default Hey Pat, What the heck is this ??

I'm playing Goose Green with AATF and a unit has some kind of crazy path thing going on. Here's a pick and save file. Not sure why or how.

It looks like it is trying to get around that great big gulf to the other side and had difficulty finding a path. Was it part of a platoon and got left behind or was it attached to a platoon? This sometimes happens, especially in complex terrain like this. This can also happen with some missions in complex terrain.

You can delete the whole path by selecting path plan and then "Cut" Then you can guide it manually where you got it.

Pat,

Yeah that's pretty much how I handled it but I wanted you to get a look at the file for yourself. I think the unit is a member of B Coy. which is assigned an assault mission. Have no idea why that fire team thinks it should cross over to the other side of the inlet.
