Dominions 3 Forum suggestions
Hi, I'm rather new to the Internet and computing in general. Imagine my delight when I joined this community. You people are most helpful and just plain nice. I thank all of you.
Okay, on to the subject of the forum. I was bumbling around with the PM system when WraithLord showed me how to do it better. Suddenly I discovered I didn't know much about the interface of this web site. So I decided to ask all of you to post your arcana of the hidden mysteries of this wonderful web site. I want this to be a positive thread so no complaining please. I think the format should start with the user cp and follow a progression across the Forum Menu Bar. I don't know how you guys would organize this so I will leave it to you. Thanks again. Bwaha

Re: Dominions 3 Forum suggestions
In this regard, does anyone know if it's possible to mark all threads in a (sub)forum as read? I'm sure I've seen "mark all as read" in some forums, but I couldn't find it in here.

There is a "forum tools" popup menu for this purpose

When I used that tool, I see the word "Forum". I believe Endo, and I, want a "Thread" tool. Or does that work on individual threads. I am chary of hitting it and finding out that it is "Forum" and I can never undo it.

There's another method: If you're outside a forum, you can double-click on the page icon to the left of the forum title (well, you can on IE at least).

By the way, why is title for this forum ".com.unity Forums"?
Somekind of joke or something? Or is it just a name?

Huh? I think you misread the title. My goal was to find new user frendly ways to use the forum. For example the pm settings, I didn't look very closely when I used it. Then someone told me about notifications when you receive pm. That was great. Another is confirm message received. These two hints really helped.
