Worm hole sequence question
If I am sending a fleet through a wormhole, does order matter? In particular, say there are enemy fighters and mines on the other side of the wormhole. If I send my warships in followed by mine sweepers, will the sweepers protect them from the mines? If not, won't the sweepers be killed by the fighters as they will momentarily be unprotected? Generally speaking, what is the best use of sequencing at wormholes?
Thanks!

Re: Worm hole sequence question
Mines, minesweepers, fighters. In that order. If you send two fleets through the WP simultanously. The fleet moving first (haven't figured out how that works) will encounter the mines first. If it's not the minesweeping fleet they will be attacked by the mines! Then the second fleet will move and the battle of what's left will start.

Re: Worm hole sequence question
Will do. But, there is the option of prioritizing passage through wormholes. I take it the smart set send the whole fleet through together (or maybe mine sweepers and warships first, followed by unarmed ships? Or, does it really matter?

Re: Worm hole sequence question
You could use a simultaneous transit. All your ships appear at the same time. Of course nature abhors impossible things like 2 ships materialising in the same space. In SEV it seems to apply 20% of the time.

Re: Worm hole sequence question
The passage order only applies in combats, not to minefield encounters.
First the fleet sweeps whatever mines it can, then they detonate against it. Then, combat occurs and the transit ordering is applied.
