Default Boosting patrols?

I just trolled the manual and do not see any magic items that boost patrolling. Any tips on how to boost patrol efforts?

1. Summon a watcher if you have a lab in the province or 2. cast call of the winds and patrol with the eagles

The Eye of Accuracy will make a commander better at patrolling. Not much better, admittedly.

Edit: this is not a serious suggestion. You'd be paying 5 air gems for a quarter point of patrol strength.

Ring of Warning gives you a patrol bonus along with being able to have 5 extra body guards (for a total of 10).

Why waste gems on patrolling? Just buy more troops. Or if you want to spend gems to patrol, just summon some blackhawks.

I am not saying that its a great investment .... but every now and then having a couple of rings floating around could come in handy when an opponent starts spamming assassination spells at your difficult to defend mages.

Information is power. Clear out the spies and it is a lot tougher for the enemy to drop call of the winds on your provinces with low PD. Or to know where it is wise to teleport various SC and thugs.

If you patrol a choke point, you can stop them getting cheap and easy access to your nation.

Cu sidhe, Ophanim, Simargl, Celestial hounds also give P-bonus.
