Default Campaign Journal

As I'm getting ready for the arrival of my freshly ordered CD versions (and the new patches), I started looking around for a few external tools.

For SP:WAW I remember having a tool that kept track of all my units during generated campaigns, complete with experience graphs, skills, ranks etc. However, I can neither find it on my backups, nor can I remember the exact name.

Does anyone around here know a similar tool for SPWW2 / MBT? Or am I stuck with keeping track of my units manually?

Hi Rev,

This utility interested me, so I found it on the web:

http://campaignwatcher.abross.de/main.shtml

http://campaignwatcher.go.dyndns.org/

It was just updated 2 months ago.

Not sure if it will work with SPWW2, but I'll try it out; let me know if you can get it to work.

cheers,
Cross

Does it really work? I just downloaded version 0.65 but it could not open the save file of my in-game campaign. Does it only work for generated campaign, or does it work at all for winSPWWII?
I am using excel for my record now and something like this really helps.

Best Regards

Hi IF,

Although I have SPWaW installed, I rarely play it any more. So I never tried it out with WaW.

I did briefly see if it would work with SPWW2, with no success, but didn't put much time into it; instead I was hoping that someone more savvy than me would figure out if it was possible to customize it for SPWW2.

Currently, I also use Excel for core tracking. What sort of things do you track?

cheers,
Cross

Should have checked back in as well, I've had no luck with it either. Too bad.

Rank, Rally, Exp, Morale, Inf/Arty/Arm Skill, Kill, i.e., things in the right side of unit info.

I know this is an old thread, but I've been putting some thoughts into this recently and I figured it would be a waste to start a new thread on it. Some questions:

1 Has anybody figured out a way for the campaign tracker to work for SPWW2?

2 If you track your campaign, what do you keep track of?

and
3 How has this helped you in the course of the campaign?

I'm currently looking into tracking exp, moral, the command values (rally, Inf, Arm, Art) and kills. I'm also looking at making note to any upgrades I make along the way as last time I wasn't careful about upgrading it was a big pain in the butt.

What thoughts are out there.
