4.0 small error report and some questions
Bug report:
Obat 11 Russia Unit 807 [203mm 2A44 Pl] has as its weapon
[152mm D20 FH CM] (weapon 229)
instead of some other 203mm guns.
Question:
I skimmed through Russian section of Encyclopedia and found out that T-72B(M) has been given an ATGM called "9M119M1 Invar-M"
Wasn't Invar the Indian name for Refleks? And is it true that it can penetrate about 900mm ? Then why T-80s and 90s are given Refleks series that have lower penetration capability than Invar-M ?
Any piece of information please, it really shook my curiosity.
And does anyone know for what round each tankgun corresponds to?
i.e: 125mm Gun 88 = 3BM42
105mm M68 83 = M833
Thanks,

Re: 4.0 small error report and some questions
Regarding the 125mm GL-ATGM, the ones that I know of are the 9M112 Kobra for the T-64B/80B series, 9M119/9M119M Svir/Refleks for the T-72/80/90 series. These have a penetration ranging from 600-750mm of RHAe.
The 9M119M1 Reflek-M is a modernised 9M119M Reflek, it has an improved warhead with can penetration 750-850mm of RHAe.
The Ukrainians has the Kombat GL-ATGM which has similar performance to the 9M119M series.

re lower penetration: due to need for cash Russian army might now get worse equipment than customers abroad, no?

Re: 4.0 small error report and some questions
I wouldn't say so, the Russian recently developed the RPG-28, which has a 125mm caliber warhead compared against the older RPG-27/29. Which improves it's penetration to over 900mm of RHAe compared against the 650/750mm on the RPG-29.

That they developped it doesn't mean they'll buy it for their army

Oops.... Yeah there's actually a couple other little changes I should have made involving that weapon.
On the next list...

You confuse names missiles and names of systems as a whole - for example, missiles ATGM Refleks 9M119 is used on tanks T-72 as a part of system Svir. On tanks T-90 both T-80 system and missiles ATGM were called Refleks. Also there are systems and missiles ATGM for guns 100mm with different names and names of systems.

Re: 4.0 small error report and some questions
Will anyone help me on "weapon ID" question?
Are 125mm gun 00/03/05 (these have ingame sabot pen value of 70~90 level) representations of "what-if" weapons made in the past but somehow survived?
To my knowledge best and most recent Russian APFSDS round is 3BM-42M with penetration value of something between 700~800 RHA at 0m, 0 degrees.
Any help is appreciated
Edit: Changed somewhat arrogant and hostile sentences.

Re: 4.0 small error report and some questions
Another bug found. The 2A72 autocannon as used on the BMP-3 and BMD-4 among other vehicles has been replaced by the 30mm GSh-30-1 aircraft cannon.
