The Unofficial Reorganized Modding Manual v3.15
The document you all have been waiting for since the the DB: An improved modding manual!
This is a project that got permission from Illwinter several months ago, but got put on ice because I was suffering from an overdose of Dominions fatigue and was busy with other things. Since I've been flattened by flu and other ailments these past few days, I figured I should put the time to good use so I could get rid of this unfinished business.
Almost all of the text in this mod manual is exactly the same as in the official modding manual that comes with the game, but it has been reorganized so that (especially in the monster modding section) similar commands (e.g. all shapechanging and all summoning commands) are grouped together in their own subsections. There is a table of contents, where the section headings are hyperlinks that will take you to the appropriate section. You can also get the TOC structure visible on the left-hand side in Adobe Reader by clicking on the bookmark button.
The only new content in this manual is the description and syntax of the item modding commands, based on information in the Beta forum, since those commands have not been described in the official manual, as well as the table included with them.
Tables have been renumbered throughput the document and the relevant text references updated to reflect the new numbers. Thus, this version is not directly one on one compatible with the official manual.
There are no detailed walkthroughs of modding, or any specific notes about any single mod command. For those, it would be better if the community came up with a separate modding FAQ and how-to document where examples of the various snags and eccentricities in certain modding commands were explained in detail. Such things are beyond the scope of this document, where the main aim was to reorganize the content for easier, more convenient access.
Any and all feedback is welcome and encouraged. Now, go ahead and enjoy the Unofficial Reorganized Dominions 3 Modding Manual
EDIT: Fixed version with working hyperlinks uploaded

Re: The Unofficial Reorganized Modding Manual v3.1
Very nice, thanks for that.
One nitpicking: The links in the TOC don't work for the subsections (X.YY).

Re: The Unofficial Reorganized Modding Manual v3.1
Thanks for pointing that out. Turns out Open Office is effing stupid when it creates the subsection hyperlinks. It does not understand that there is supposed to be the x.yy in the heading line and that screws up the links. I changed the subheadings to read x-yy and now the links work perfectly.
I uploaded a fixed version. Same filename in the attachment though.

Re: The Unofficial Reorganized Modding Manual v3.1
There's a mistake with 9.16
Should be 'See table 6', and FX numbers not in the ten thousands.

Thanks. I'll see about fixing that. There's another table reference that is wrong because I missed it the first time around.
