CD version
Store says it's out of stock. When will more be available? Just noticed that the new (3.5) OP-fire rules apply only to CD version... doh.

Zip
I'm told the game is temporarily on backorder from the printer but Shrapnel expects to be fully stocked in two weeks or so.
Thanks for ordering the game. We do appreciate it.

Re: CD version
Yep, order placed so I guess it'll arrive when more copies are available. Hats off to you guys for stretching the old engine even further, the OP-fire rules was the reason to buy. Before this I've been happy with the D-load version, even if it has only 800x600 resolution!

Re: CD version
Received this week MBT and WW2 on CDs, and got to say good stuff, especially with the resolutions and OPFireFilter (exactly what I wished for since SP1). Printed manuals were not bad either!

Re: CD version
Received this week MBT on CD.
Now I run into some "not so neat" results.
If I run the game on my 22" wide screen (1680x1050) in 1600x1280 or 1280x1024 in full screen mode, the menus/icons on the side are so small... everything else looks fantastic! So I run it on 1152x864, still much better then in 800x600.
In windowed mode the 1600x1280 or 1280x1024 are out off shape completly and again 1152x864 works.

1) full screen mode
of course the icons will be small - you have more screen real estate to cover, but they will be the original size in pixels
2) Windowed mode
"Out of shape completely" means what, precisely??
Do you mean that it is just a little small for you to see?.
If you are having "stretch" problems, then the fact that you have a wide screen monitor may be the clue - these things usually have something in the control panel for the monitor that turns wide-screen mode on or off. Usually for switching between normal programmes/games etc and video playback. Try finding that switch perhaps?.
Cheers
Andy

Re: CD version
Pats what I do (24" 1920x1200) is set the game fullscreen and 1600x1200. It still stretches of course, but it is not that much of a trouble after a few hours.
It is sad that the game does not support widescreen resolutions, but don't forget how old this engine really is.
