Rain + Storm
Do the effects from these work together? Like, do fire spells get twice as hard to cast than just one of those alone, and fire auras get even weaker?

Re: Rain + Storm
Despite what the description for Rain says, I ran a test. The heat value for Abysia units did not decrease after rain or storm was cast.

Re: Rain + Storm
Hmmm...I have not noticed whether Abysia's heat values changes, but it does seem to me that my troops hold up better if I have rain cast. Rain certianly will put small fires out.

How about fire spells? Do they get less effective/higher fatigue? I know that happens individually, but does it happen even more so when combined?

Re: Rain + Storm
I'll mess with that later tonight when I get back home. I would assume it raises the fatigue, or else the spell basically does nothing
Also, just because it doesn't lower the heat value doesn't mean the spell is some how dampening the fatigue damage it would normally do.

Fatigue dmg is lower in rain. Not the aoe.

Re: Rain + Storm
I thought that might be the case. I found it terribly difficult to test. I tried setting a unit to guard commander and having the commander just sit there, but the fatigue gain was erratic at best.
Is there a formula for fatigue gain off heat and cold auras somewhere? I thought the damage was just = to the heat rating. And that each unit that radiates heat can stack the heat/cold in its AoE so that multiple heat/cold units will cause massive fatigue.

Re: Rain + Storm
I was wrong. Checked the code.
Heat from hell has fatigue dmg reduced from 5 to 2.
Area of hot troops is reduced by 3. This doesn't show in their stats, but should be possible to see if you just have one unit on the battlefield (watch the smoke).
Fatigue dmg is not reduced from hot troops.

Re: Rain + Storm
Confirmed. A Precision 10 unit will go to 5 with Storm, then 2 with Mist.
