ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
What is the short cut for casting a magic site search spell every turn, or casting X spell every turn? I can't remember it.

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
it is "shift m" and then choose the spell. Very handy.
To help you remember the "m" stands for Monthly

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
Yes m for monthly, and shift because it was added later so m was already taken.
Be sure to select the mage first, or a group of mages. Then hit the shift-m

I've yet to get a confirmation that this works for Apple users, since it doesn't work for me!

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
It works for me (iMac).
However, I noticed when I tried R'lyeh that it didn't work properly when trying to target underwater provinces (with Voice of Tiamat). Can anyone replicate this?

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
Also, I find that the search often wants to search my capital, even when I have other, unsearched provinces. I have got the latest patch and I thought this was sorted out. Running on PC

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
So if a sight has been searched already it won't waste time searching it again?

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
Yes. If a province has been searched to even 1 level in a particular path, the autosearch won't target it.
Which may be what was happening with Voice of Tiamat above? If any of the 4 elemental paths had been searched, I'd expect Voice to skip it. Haven't tested this, though.

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
Doh. I just reported this in the bug thread. Is that WAD then? Seems pretty mad that if you've searched to lvl 1 they are unwilling to set a lvl4+ auto search on it.

Re: ARGH! Automating Magic Site Searching
Seems to be WAD.
It would be nice if it would prioritize based on the level already searched.
