Armor repair
What are the requirements for armor repair to occur (for units with destroyed armor)?
(It says unused resources, which makes sense, but I find none repaired when marching into a province with 60 unused resources, no unrest. I think I might half-remember from Dom 2 that it needs to be at a fort? Or does it just not happen on the same turn that they march into a province?)

Re: Armor repair
I've never had any success at getting armor repaired. Don't think I ever tried it at a fort, but I did sit there in a province with plenty of resources for several turns, and checked every unit every turn to see if the armor had been repaired. I generally consider broken armor permanently broken, but if the fort thing works that would be nice.

Whoa! Didn't realize Acid Rain&Bolt were so yummy! I thought the 'rust' effect lasted for the duration of the battle... (If EA Tien Chi's mages weren't capital only they'd beat the crap out of anyone standing in their way)

Acid Storm is even more powerful, so powerful that it might hurt you more than your enemy... Armor of Achilles effect on everyone on the battlefield. BAM!

Re: Armor repair
I have definitely seen armour repaired before. I actually had a small squad sitting in a province for several turns, checking regularly until they were all fixed.
That said, it seems to be slow... I suspect that the resource cost for each set of armour is quite high.

Re: Armor repair
Was the squad which managed to repair stationed at a fort?
I recall repairing armor in Dom 2 - I'm just having a bit of a hard time getting it to happen in Dom 3.

Re: Armor repair
Ressource cost depends on the units size. (2 = 100%, +/- 1 diff : +/-50%). Base cost ranges from 1 for Furs to 25 for Plate Mail Armor, plus shields from 1 to 4. Obviously this can add up to repairs worth several hundred ressources easily.
