Default Bug/Issue: Explore Command and Avoid Systems

I've had this happen in previous Versions, but it never really annoyed me until now. I started a game with the new patch, and was fortunate to have one of the two links out of my system lead to a black hole. I marked it as a System to Avoid, and then gave my newest frigate an Explore command. Usually I can cancel a bad move order before it gets there, but I use "Warp points anywhere in the system" and my ship flew through the damaging warp point and is now a gutted hulk drifting to its doom.

Need to make it so the Explore command ignores Warp Points in systems marked as "Avoid".

Yes, that is a real bummer. Did you send this Bug to Aaron?

On the topic of the Explore button. Does anyone know if it will work in simultaneous games? I mean will it go through an unknown warp point and make it to the other side and continue on its orders to explore and move farther out in the system instead of wasting a turn's worth of engine?

My only experience with "avoid system" is with colony ships, since I do the exploring myself. However, I notice that the colony ship will move into the "avoid system" to go to another system. Esp if the "avoid system" is a "choke point".
Is this a bug? Or a bad feature?

I've never noticed any problems with Systems to Avoid myself. Note that ships follow the shortest route to their destination that they know about; if they can't get where you want them to go without going through an Avoid system, they might ignore the Avoid marker.

I stopped using Explore because it seems to always head for the closest unexplored warp point, and that isn't always the direction I want to focus on.

No. It simply orders to warp in the nearest unexplored warp point, it doesn't re-issue the order after the ship warps once.
