Why God? why me?! (An error question)
O.K. so this isn't quite as dire as the title makes it out to be but it is the first time I've seen this happen. I suppose a simple uninstall/install will fix it but because I've recently started modding, I'm wondering if I have perhaps corrupted something. Basically, I don't want to reinstall and the same thing happen again. Here goes:
Starting up Dom 3, it gets to the 'please wait' before abruptly crashing to desktop. An error box appears (With something written in Swedish that I suppose says Something is Wrong!!) and the error is: mymemcheck: adr===0
Followed by 4: myfree: adr===0.
If I reinstall the game, and then replace my mod files, could this happen again? Was it perhaps something I did in my mod? I was trying to get my new banner to work this morning but do not recall this happening at all then. It just happened when I got home from work, like 20 minutes ago.

Re: Why God? why me?! (An error question)
It sounds like something to do with your banner when the mod is enabled. Don't panic, make sure the banner file you are using is a .tga file of 32 x 128 or 64 x 256 uncompressed, 24 bit.
I would try deleting the files in the mod directory to see if a mod is causing the issue. Be sure to just paste these files somewhere else so you still have them.
As a last resort I would reinstall the game, but mods should not corrupt your game in a manner that this is needed.

Re: Why God? why me?! (An error question)
You were, of course, correct.
Thanks. Can I fix the banner to the size you've specified? Ballbarian made it for me, and I think it is the correct size. Could it be the command I am using to make it show in the mod preferences menu? This is what I have:
#icon "./barbarians/barbhordesbanner.tga"

Try this instead:
#icon "barbarians/barbhordesbanner.tga"

Or try deleting the icon line completely to see if that helps
Before doing a complete reinstall try deleting the domconfig file and see if that knocks out the enabled mod

Re: Why God? why me?! (An error question)
Well...I tried your suggestion Ballbarian and it let Dom 3 load up, but when I go to mod preferences, it does the crashes I listed in first post.
If I do as Gandalf suggested and delete the icon line altogether, everything runs fine but no cool banner to go with.
If what Ballbarian suggested using for the icon line does not work, what else is there to do to get the banner for the mod to show?
Would it help if I post the mod and then maybe more experienced modders can look it over and possibly see something I am not noticing?

Re: Why God? why me?! (An error question)
Here is a fixt version of the banner
BTW, I had to rar it because the forum does not accept tga uploads. So just unzip it and replace the tga your using. I only converted the banner that was made for you into the proper format. I hope this helps.
