Default Problem with status bar and mines

GB assaults Germany Feb. 1945

The german player can find out which mines have been spotted by his opponent just by hovering the cursor over the mines and looking at the status bar.
Have a look at the attached screenshots.

We'll look into it, however, the only fix for this *may* be not reporting the mines. That message bar was intended to report geographic features to BOTH sides equally. You'll note when you check the mines as the defensive player the hex reports "clear" which is all the attacking player sees as well until he detects them then "mines" appears but those messages were never designed to report one thing to one side and one to the other so the solution here , as I said, may be to remove the mines report. It's not really needed anyway. The defensive player can see where his mines are and the attacker sees them when he finds them. It's really only the terrain UNDER the mines that should be reported.

Sometimes mines are hard to see, for example when a unit is in the hex. If it is your last tank then it is good to know that there are mines so you can get some engineers to clear the hex before attempting to move the tank.
Just an example that reporting the mines is a feature I was missing for a long time. Don't know when it was introduced.
I'm not saying that it has to be fixed, it just came to my attention.

The mine report is needed imo. Some terrain will cover the mine most notably craters. I've lost units to mines from not seeing them due to the craters.

Hi
I agree with Narwan on this issue.
Leave the mine report in the game.
Cheers
