Leftover Pretender Points
I'm now making a pretender god and I have 17 points left over I don't know what to do with (everything costs much more at this point). What's being done with these leftovers? Are they used for some additional bonuses like additional HP etc. internally by the game or are they totally wasted? It would be nice if we could use these leftover points to buy additional skills like extra HP, strength etc. for our pretenders. It doesn't make sense to waste these leftovers.

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
They're wasted.
Consider it points lost to rounding.

Or consider that you're still working at better than 95% efficiency, and be happy!

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
It'd be nice if these points could go towards making Pretenders a little bit more unique from each other, but unfortunately, that ability isn't in the game as of yet.

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
Yeah, something like STARS! had - the possibility to pour the last points into something small, but useful (ok, in STARS! factories where a no-brainer 99% of the time to give you a head-start in production ..).
Maybe some a handful of light inf, one more commander, a some gold etc., depending on the amount of points leftover. Randomly selected or with some checkbuttons to choose from ?
But I think this has been discussed before and never got any comment from Johan or Kristoffer ...

Tell you what, lets discuss it again, then at some future unspecified date perhaps we will have the opportunity to spend those left over points.
There should definately be something of minor use/benefit that you can spend 1pt on which is not abusable. Like 1pt = a extra 100 pop at your capital or a extra scout or 1 extra military unit (but always the weakest one possible for a nation to recruit) or whatever...just so you can spend all your points.

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
Perhaps the most straightforward way to do it would be to add the leftover points as resources to the capital. That can come in really useful for a lot of nations early on because it would allow for a slight boost of production for resource intensive unist.

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
5-10 points to add +1 to a stat on your pretender, Max +3?

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
+3 may not sound like much but when you consider the stats some pretenders can reach (a f9w9 moloch with dual swords of swiftness and chainmail of displacement is insane) that might push some of them over the edge in power.

Re: Leftover Pretender Points
Especially with people who test the extreme. All bad scales, a full sleeper, low dominion, anything to get more points to use in a particular strategy.
