Default Newbie question

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new to the game, so...
I've found some topics discussing the relative strength of some nations in their respective age, but I've found none discussing "which age is stronger"; in a game with every nation from every age, wich ones do you think would have better chances of winning (game settings default for MA)?

At neutral settings (in other words the AI ran everything) MA Ermor took the lead early, and Oceania tended to take a strong lead later (or on large maps). If the game went long enough then Arcos and Pythium became contenders with strong magics. If you want to see the last test (the human player is playing Oceania to see if they can figure out why Oceania does so well) then check out

Luckily, that doesnt affect the game. The real strength of a nation or a player is when the nation and player match abilities and strategies. So in a game where the best match of player with Ulm is up against the best match of player with Ermor and etc etc etc.. well that hasnt been tested yet.

This was discussed in another thread. Any idea what happened to a player league table, 1-1 duels?

I think it was well discussed but no one volunteered to manage the ladder.

Thank you for your ansewer Gandalf, but I think I didn't explain myself correctly. My question is not about which specific nation is the strongest; but which age is the strongest, just imagine your megagame with 3 teams: EA nations, MA nations and LA nations. I'm just curious to know if the "steel" nations of the LA can be a match to the "magic" nations of the EA; AFAIK in Dom2 the more magic-heavier nations were the stronger; is it still the same in Dom 3 or can we expect Jomon to beat EA Arcoscephale?

I woul EAudi that fight due to the multitude of good blesses avaliable and recruitable thugs/SCs(buffed eagle kings, dai oni, niefel jarls ect) but it would depend on many factors, players, strategies, start locations ect.
