New themed PBW game \"Partnership of the Ring\"
Looking for interest, so post your thoughts!
There are three parts:
1) Partnership of the Ring
2) The Two Blackholes
3) Return of the ViKing
Mod: Carrier Battles v1.5
Starting positions: One Ringworld for each race. (Specify what surface type you need when you upload your empire)
Map: Cluster
Key Features:
1) One Ring in the center of the galaxy, which binds all the clusters together with warppoints. This ring will have +999% resource value.
2) Two Black holes, one on each side of the One Ring, which all the incoming ships must pass through to get to the ring.
3) An AI playing the EEE. They start outside the galaxy, and have a long chain of systems to colonize (which acts as a time-delay fuse). Once they reach the last system in the fuse, they will find one-way warppoints leading into the human player galaxy.
So, after the humans have had some time to bicker and skirmish over control of the One Ring, Eee will start flooding in from nowhere, causing much chaos and panic.

/me thinks it sounds exciting
Phong sound more like King, don't they? How about Return of the Phong?
Will the AI race get a bonus so it is truly a legion of chaos?

Well, they really don't need a bonus to compete. But why not.
Perhaps I could just use 5 instances of the viKings, on team mode. They'd be really scary.

sounds interesting, not done carrier mod, and I have a lot of work on... I really want to do it, how long will the turns be?
(and if I do, do it, this will probably be my first pbw with intel.... lol, will finally have to learn it :S )

Intel will either be off completely, or all sabotage intel will be disabled.
FYI, I am always happy to offer long winded advice on inane strategic details. Just ask.
Also, be sure to read the important!readme.txt, which details the most critical differences from stock.
