Artillery, paras, fighters not shown in replay
I encountered a bug while playing and PBEM game. During my opponents turn I attacked him with artillery and Hornets and he sent landed some paratroops on my side. However none of this was shown in my replay. This was especially harmfull because of the paras because I didn't know where they were and how many of the transport planes were shot down etc.
My opponent said that he didn't have fast artillery switched on and added that something like this had happened to him before. Is this a common problem? Anyway, it's a serious bug that should be dealt with.
Cheers,
Jukka

Re: Artillery, paras, fighters not shown in replay
There is a Fast Arty bug that has been brought to the devs attention.
Perhaps in next patch?

Re: Artillery, paras, fighters not shown in replay
was this turn 0 bombardment? - if so, the first player's replay is lost due to turn 0 being "2 turns at once", and player 2's artillery events for turn 0 then overwrite the replay buffer thus losing player 1's turn 0 arty events.
That is non-fixable in the game engine.
Cheers

Hi,
The turn was 11. and fast artillery was of for both players. Maybe the reason for the bug was that there were three "different elements" in play - artillery, paratroopers as well as fighters. That might have overloaded the system somehow. This probably sounds ridiculous, but that's my best guess - don't know anything about game mechanics
