Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
I was hoping Intemidator could help me out on this one.
I have downloaded your starwars rebellion v1.03 and I keep getting AI General Setting errors.
Implaying the game by-myself, and someone told me that the games is a PBM, what ever that means, and I cannot play the game correctly.
Whats wrong with the game, Do I have to play the game with another person?
or can I play the game by myself with the AI against me.
I have downloaded the Planet, Facility, Events, and Components to the main files of the SEIV directory, so everything is ready to go.
Someone told me to go to this forum and you guys could help me out with this Mod.
Im really looking forward to playing the starwars Mod, so I hope this info helps out to what my problem is with this mod.
Thanks.

Re: Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
I don't think the AI works adequetely to be playable in a single player version, pretty much you need a few people to play a game.
PBEM or PBW are ways to play a multiplayer game, Play by email, and a host manuelly makes the tunrs go by, or Play by Web http://www.pbw.cc/ which is a server which hosts games and takes care of the turn processing, and it can host alot of different mod games, but I dont think this mod is up on it.

Re: Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
AI setting errors are usually caused by using a pre-Gold AI in a Gold game. Instructions for fixing these AI files are linked in my sig.

These errors are more along of lines of mod changes and not pre-gold type issues.

Re: Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
hi,
You gave the answer yourself, the problem is NO AI (and I will probably never find the time to do an proper AI, sorry.) It's multiplayer only, mostly because of the HERO trait (AI's would build hundreds of Darth Vaders instead of only one)
But if you are looking for oponent players, just mail me and I'm willing to start a game with you (and others)

Re: Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
Nope, never uploaded to PBW. But wanna keep it that way for atleast a few weeks.
The canon map is ready now, I'm working on some bugs and writing an Readme file (mainly to inform people NOT to try playing against AI, because all the bug reports on this forum where regarded to that problem)
But people can start to sign on for an SW game, already........

Re: Problems with the Star Wars Rebellion v1.03
Are the errors occuring in a mod or are they occuring in just the ship set in a stock game?
