pbw retrofitting
Hi
I was wondering if on pbw or just that style of gameplay, is there a way of retrofitting more than once per ship per turn?
Thanks

Re: pbw retrofitting
No, there isn't. Giving the retrofit order clears all previous orders, so the first retrofit must be completed before you order the second, and that doesn't happen until turn processing in simultaneous movement games. Multiple retrofits of the same ship in the same turn is only possible in sequential movement mode, where orders are executed as soon as given.

Heh. Thought someone had suggestions on upgrading PBW.

Re: pbw retrofitting
I did not want to start a seporate topic for this, but it is a similar question, is there anyway to queue things to happen for a ship that are not in sector?
I have a ship with a warp closing device, and it will have one free movement point at target, is there anyway I can queue it to move and close? it seems like a waste of a turn...

Re: pbw retrofitting
Each SM component has its own quirks. For warp closers, the answer to your quiestion is maybe. If it started on a WP, you could close the WP and then queue a move after that. If it didn't start on a WP, you couldn't give the order to move to the WP and then close on the same turn. The SM order button won't light up. I think that if a WP closer starts on any WP, it can be ordered to move to another WP and close it, though...

Re: pbw retrofitting
You CAN start on a WP (or group), then move the closer off that WP and then back on it, then close it, then move somewhere. You can also just close it and move somewhere else afterward.
You can NOT start on a WP, then move to different a Group of WPs and close one of them.
I am unsure if you can move from one WP to another one and close the second one.
