Default France and Korea - Tough Fight

The newest is up. Thanks again to Stephen Porter and Tom DeShelter for the fine test job. The Wild Team has a new one for you.

There is a slightly easier version if this one is too tough. If you prefer that one, drop me a line.

Played first few turns, small cute scenario, human wave-type.

How i wish i had a mortar squad...

Tonight i think i'll finish it, the Chinese are coming close with high casualities, but they can afford them, as long as i can see...

Keep on with steady, aimed fire. I've just managed a "decisive" on turn 14. Glad it didn't stretch byond 15 turns though as I would have been down to grenades and hand-to-hand. I think I must have pinned & routed Chinese HQs with 'long' rounds in the scatter from the 105s, as I didn't see them until I was able to view map at end of game.

A deceptively challenging scenario, well done WBW!

Thank you guys! Good to hear that you are playing and taking on the challenge. That is most encouraging. A decisive is hard in this one, but holding the objectives can do it for you.

Its a raw, down and dirty hard fight.

A real nail biter this one. Choose your shots carefully for sure. Real pucker factor when my M16 SPAA ran dry, yikes. Lost 3 squads in the north, but held out for a DV.
The steady stream of 105mm HE is a must to survive.

Another good one WB.

Cheers
Scott

Ok, finally won it
Marginal Victory, the main problem was a bit of bad luck on the hit rolls, it seemed like i was shooting beans instead of bullets.
The Commies reached my southern trench with heavy casualties on my side, reserves and reinforcements stood to avoid a complete disaster.

As usual, good scenario, WBW!

Thank you sir! Good report. It is very tough to win. The Chinese are so many that they just keep coming. You did well, Busko.
