Re: Al Sadr upspring in Karbala early 2004
I just finished playing. Really interesting little scenario. I lost 3 men and a Tarpan Honker but the result was Decisive Victory (672 to 12).
Are planning to do more Polish related scenarios? We sure could use some more. Are from Poland? Everyone seems to do the US vs USSR ones but rarely do you see ones based on other nations.
Good Work.

I was hoping he could help me out on my Betraying the Bear Campaign, a followup to my Silver Lions Campaign. In this one the player will command a small Polish Recon unit in Denmark circa October 1985.

Re: Al Sadr upspring in Karbala early 2004
I working on campaigne Polish special forces "Grom" in Iraq in 2003. You fight together with British and Americans in Um Quasr than on Desert during US ofensive and last fights in the Bagdad and on a dam near this city. That was only one polish units used during regular war in Iraq. Would you like test this campaigne? I don't post them because is not finished yet. Are some bugs and I must write brifings.

Actually what I need is the unit designations used by the Polish Army in 1985. For example;
What I am using is the Polish 7th PPR Naval Brigade as the parent unit. The campaign centers around a small recon group (2 platoons) of the 7th. How would they identify the vehicles and squads in the Recon elements of a Naval Infantry Brigade?
In the US we would identfy the platoon leader's vehicle of A Company this way;
A-11/2/68 AR/8 ID - This identifies the 1st Platoon Leader or 1st vehicle in the 1st platoon of A Company, 2nd Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 8th Infantry Division.

How many battles is it? Do you have the Campaign Briefing done or can you provide me with some guidance on the mission, etc? I cannot probably get to it until this weekend sometime.

Re: Al Sadr upspring in Karbala early 2004
to the fellow polsih members:
poland in my camp will be OPFOR...
since i have not so much info on poland forces
perhaps someone could just build a map of western
poland with a quite realistic force of 4000 - 5000
points.. map should be medium or large ( not very large ! ).
we assume NATO forces have alread crushed the russian onslaught, stormed through the DDR and are now entering
polish territory. of course the poles dont want again
some foreign imperialist power to conquer their country...
