Default AI in simultaneous game

Can anyone enlighten me on the exact meaning of the setting AI should not make changes to the empire during a Simultaneous game

I know approximately what it does, but not the details.

So, if I miss a few turns:
  • If I have a long construction queue will it ever be cleared, or will the AI leave it alone until it is empty?
  • If I have a construction queue on repeat orders will it ever be cleared - or will it keep on churning out e.g. colonizers while an enemy fleet trashes the planet.
  • if the research queue is on "repeat projects" will they repeat forever (or at least until all projects reach the end of their tech tree)

... and any other info you can provide would be useful.

Thanks

If that option is turned on, the AI will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING if you miss a turn. It will work exactly as if you had loaded the turn, immediately hit end turn without doing anything at all, and uploaded the result as your turn. The ONLY difference is that the log messages for that turn won't be cleared until you actually do play a turn.
