Proxomitron and Gmail

I have the JD5000 filters installed in Proxomitron. I recently got a Google Gmail account. I can not access the site at all with the filters enabled.

Are there updated filters that will still allow Gmail to function, or do I just have to have the site bypass Proxomitron?

Unfortunately, I don't have the answer to your problem, but wow, I don't suppose you could share your account with the rest of us poor chumps who use hotmail, could you?

No... Get a Yahoo email account in the mean time... 100 MB inbox with 10 MB max email size and better spam filtering than Hotmail has...

There was some talk about problems with GMail and Proxomitron on the Prox-list at Yahoo Groups. Just like you described, they couldn't login at all with Prox filters enabled. I don't don't recall if they managed to fix it since I didn't pay much attention myself ... I have absolutely no plans to ever use GMail and let an advertising company scan my email so they can annoy me more effectively.

I find Yahoo Mail to be good enough -- especially with the new 100 MB limit

-- and I have Prox filters for skipping the ads there, that work.
