This can\'t be right
I finally take over an enemy castle and it says I've been vanquished. There was no battle for taking over my castle so what did I do wrong?

Did your god's dominion get extinguished from the world while you perhaps weren't paying attention to it? You have to have some religious dominion somewhere in the world, or you lose (people stop worshipping you).

YOU were vanquished? It sounds like your Dominion fell to 0, which is game-over, since you didn't lose your Last province.

Re: This can\'t be right
There was no battle for my Dominion and it was heavily fortified. I sieged another players Dominion and it said I was tearing down the walls for about 5 turns then the Last turn the measage said that the wall was down an I could enter the fort. Then another message under it said I was vanquished which made no sense because my Dominion was well protected and I would assume it would at least show the battle of it being captured.

That doesn't matter: Dominion is seperate from military strength: You can have the strongest military in the game, and still lose if your dominion score falls to 0. Dominion is represented in the map by the white candles. How many white candles did you see? If you saw only very small white candles prior to your sudden and unexpected defeat, you lost because you got dominion-killed.
You have to keep at least one white candle somewhere. If you have no candles anywhere, GAME OVER.
Build lots of temples, and have your priests preach until you see large, fat, white candles.

Re: This can\'t be right
Grr...I think I figured out the problem. I loaded the Last game saved and I clicked on options. Somehow I must of accidently clicked on computer controlled and that just ends the game for the next turn. Is there any way of backing up a turn?
