Default Kingdom of Karan - Would you want to visit?

Hey all. I've released my first big effort at mapmaking, the Kingdom of Karan, which you can now grab at Illwinter's maps page. Hope you all enjoy it!

I was playing around in Bryce, and began to wonder....what might it be like to visit this place? What if I were sailing across the Kraken Sea, approching the shores of the land known only as Mountains of Madness?

Here's a pic of the map section:

Here's how it might look to an approaching army:

Just have to use your imagination.

Also found a possible picture of the mountain fortress capital in the new "Return of the Raptors" campaign I'm starting with your map.

I really like the map, except for one small thing.

The brown on brown dotted border lines makes quickly noting provincial boundaries rather painstaking. Altering that to red, or some other color that stands out a bit more from the basic brown theme of the map would make it perfect imho ;p

very nice map. Please keep it up....

As for visiting the place... well.... I'ld have a heck of a time to get all my elefants across the sea... but nothing a bit of magic couldn't handle .

Bah you're suckups ;p Think about the poor colorblind people ;p

I actually knew a colorblind guy once, he had a bright pink front door just to annoy his family since he couldnt see it ;p

No danger of that happening. Especially since I chose that color specifically so it wouldn't stand out and detract from the overall look of the map. As I said in the readme file: "No mapmaker can create a map that will please everyone, as everyone has their own tastes."

OTOH, you could always load it into a graphics program and redraw all the province borders in a color of your choice.
