Highest Level?

What's the highest level anybody's achieved and is there a limit?

I've just completed the three campaign set on Expert and just rolled into level 25.

My current game is at 32. But I suspect there is no limit. The way the components work, with their costs, abilities, etc, being a linear function of the level, there is no reason to stop.

That being said, the relative change between the levels is diminishing. There is little difference between the levels.

The title you get in the high score may run out...

Lieutenant
Lt. Commander
Commander
Captain
Commodore
Rear Admiral
Vice Admiral
Senior Admiral
Fleet Admiral
Sky Marshal


Level 32 is in the Vice Admiral range....

What it takes to get to Sky Marshal? Have to get there yet...
