IRC Gladiators

[Suicide Junkie]

Rules:
1) Both contestants pick a number from 0 to 9 and PM it to the moderator.
2) The mediator adds the numbers modulo 10, and Posts the result.
3) Player one scores for low numbers (0-4), Player two for high numbers (5-9)
0 or 9 - Critical hit (5 damage)
1 or 8 - 3 damage
2 or 7 - 2 damage
3 or 6 - 1 damage
4 or 5 - blocked

Note: PD is player one, aiming for the low numbers, while Mac is aiming for high numbers.

* Phoenix-D waves his sword about

* Phoenix-D hits mac's blade accidently and nearly falls over

{mac5732} looks over his trusty blade and with two hands swings it in an arc,
* Phoenix-D swings under mac's weapon and nicks his opponent's hands
{mac5732} gets disgusted with the blade as he cut off some of his hair during the arc, picks up a trident and a net
{mac5732} Throws the net at PD's wobbly knees
* Phoenix-D erps and backs off..then tosses his sword at Mac
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 3: 7+2 =} 9 :: Mac scores 5 damage critical! (10 vs 14 hp)
{mac5732} knocks the sword away with his trident, pulls back his arm and lets fly and at the same time, throws the net
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 4: 2+2 =} 4 :: PD scores no damage (10 vs 14 hp)
* Phoenix-D 's arm is impaled by the trident, but he dodges the net
* Phoenix-D draws a knife and throws that at mac instead

{mac5732} ducks down as the knife flys past, rushes PD, grabs the trident's handle and trys to swing PD around while tryin to trip him with the net
* Phoenix-D makes a note to take the trident out before throwing next time as he removes it from his arm just in time for mac to grab it..

* Phoenix-D shoves the trident's haft into mac's chest.

{mac5732} backs off on wobbly legs, tries to pull out the trident sticking in his chest
* Phoenix-D continues the death of a million cuts

* Phoenix-D decides not to draw the trident and grabs his discarded sword

{mac5732} throws the net over the head of PD trapping him underneath

* Phoenix-D cuts the net off and backs off

{mac5732} staggers foreward pulling out his trident, pins PD's hand with the sword on the ground

{mac5732} grabs his ever present sewing kit and tries to patch the net
* Phoenix-D yelps and badly injures himself trying to pull away
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 12: 7+3 =} 0 :: PD scores 5 damage Critical! (2 vs 4 hp)
{+SuicideJunkie} Oooh, getting exciting now!
* Phoenix-D cuts off the head of the trident, and Mac's hand besides.
{mac5732} holds onto the trident and jumps up and gives a flying kick into PD"s stomach
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 13: 5+8 =} 3 :: PD scores 1 damage (2 vs 3 hp)
* Phoenix-D ducks, Mac falls onto his back.
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 14: 6+7 =} 3 :: PD scores 1 damage (2 vs 2 hp)
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 15: 0+1 =} 1 :: PD scores 3 damage (2 vs -1 hp)
{mac5732} sweating profuslly, staggers back up decides on an all or nothing rush
* Phoenix-D falls over in a pool of "mixed drinks" blood, brings the sword up for one Last slash and hits a vein
{+SuicideJunkie} And the crowd goes wild!!!
{+SuicideJunkie} man, I thought you had him all figured out there mac! Must have gotten too predictable at the end
{mac5732} looks around as everything beginns to fade into blackness, he mutters to himself, I sure wanted that brewski, oh well maybe in another life
* Phoenix-D staggers to his feet and salutes his opponent, then pries mac's mouth open and pours him a drink
{mac5732} he changed his tactic
* SuicideJunkie cheers for both competitors and the excellent job they both did.

{mac5732} turns his ftr in a gut wrenching u turn, flips the switches on his power beam ultra lite gatling guns

* Phoenix-D spends too much time watching the pretty lights and yipes!
* Phoenix-D sends a random volley of lead flying
{mac5732} falls in behind PD's ftr, lets loose with a heavy barrage of x-ray beams, revealing PD's checkered underware

{mac5732} rofl and with tears in his eyes, he can't see straight, he pulls back on his stick

* Phoenix-D turns back around and scowls at mac before jetting in to ram
{+SuicideJunkie} Round 5: 8+5 =} 3 :: PD scores 1 damage (7 vs 8)
{mac5732} waits until the Last minute, and sees his left wing crumble from the slicing miss of PD's ftr
* Phoenix-D twists his fighter around and tries to prove the Kzin lesson with his thrusters
{mac5732} fighter beginns to blow smoke, apparently it took some hits, Mac wipes away the memory of PD''s checkered underware, and again concentrates on what he's doing
{mac5732} goes into the Phong weave

* Phoenix-D jets forward harmlessly, then turns sharply and riddles mac with machine gun fire
{mac5732} ftr beginns to get a nasty feeling down inside, his pants under his flight suit appear to be wet, he bites down and trys for another rear end shot with his smarty pants missles, he lets 2 fly

{mac5732} smiles at he sees parts of PD's ships fly off into space,

* Phoenix-D 's point defense fires randomly, some bolts flying toward mac even as mac's missiles slam home
{mac5732} looks as parts of one of his rear engines blows apart leaving him in some deep deep trouble, he bears down......

* Phoenix-D twists about and fires a long burst..mac explodes!

{+SuicideJunkie} Mac gets those criticals, but just takes too many small hits...
{mac5732} as the sub atoms and particles of what was once his human form, Mac salutes PD and mumbles to himself, I shall return
