Default Including LOG TXT in PBW games

Ok I am a real DA for not noticing this before but in one of my games the log text and events files are included with the game file for each turn.

These files can be accessed by ALL players and dramatically undermine player confedentiality.

I am appaulled at this and will NEVER use this option in ANY of my games nor will I play ANY game in the future that gives this information away.

I could care less about the game I am in now as its too late to matter, but in the future PBW hosts might want to keep in mind what it is exactly they are giving away by including this info in the game zip.

GOD as I read these files I compelled to post yet again.... ALL OF OUR PRIVATE MESSAGES are readily open for viewing... It gives away our turn achievements and so forth... This is an INTEL disaster of epic proportions. Why oh why would any one want to have this option turned on for a PBW game?

(Again not directed at current game, just generalizing. However note to 12hr game host, PLEASE TURN THIS OFF NOW!)

Thank you.

I belive it has with the viewing of statistics to do.
It's so that you can view the graphs in the game, it's bad that you can access all info from the text files even if you haven't met the alien races, let alone Messages(?).
I agree that it's an intel disaster and should be turned off!

just been browsing the files for the 12hr game, yea the log has info, however none of that info has anything to do with the 12hr game, it mentions systes, ships, and empires which dont and never have exsisted.

this should be directed at Geo to fix anyway, I think the log file is not needed for the score anyway.

The ordinary *_log.trn file isn't plain text, though (right?), and the plain text logs are not sent by default.
