OT - PMing people
Is there a way to PM someone on this board without digging through the forums to find a post that he's written? Or, failing that, is there a way to search for Posts by someone by *name* rather than account number?

Re: OT - PMing people
You can add them to your Buddy List, so that you can PM them easily later.

For the first, if you know in advance you'll want to PM them, you can use the 'add to buddy list' function in their profile. If you don't know in advance, you're kinda stuck.
For the second, the forum provides a recent Posts option in the everyone's profile; however, it suffers from the same forum bug as some of the other forum functions (like the search function), and will often link you to the wrong page of the topic. If you don't have their profile handy, and just need to find a post by them, you could run a search on the segment of the Boards they frequent with their name as the search field, and hope someone has quoted them/called them by name recently.
