OT - MOO2 Sound Effects?
Does anyone have the sound effects from MOO2 in WAV format? I used to have them but I lost the files and I can't get the program to extract them from the LBX to work anymore ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif)

Re: OT - MOO2 Sound Effects?
I have the program to extract them from the LBX, but it'd be an awful lot of trouble to re-install it so I could get at the LBX files and then upload several megabytes of .WAV files. Why won't your LBX extractor work anymore? Changed OS? Don't you have a copy of an older MS-DOS or something?
I make a point of keeping older machines around for just such emergencies. ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif)

Re: OT - MOO2 Sound Effects?
Ah, I found another LBX extractor - someone over at the Apolyton Civ/MOO forums created one (no, I don't frequent those forums, I just found it on Google ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif) )... time to see if this one works! Then I can maybe even get the ship and race graphics, too! Mrrshan shipset, here we come! ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif)

Re: OT - MOO2 Sound Effects?
That pretty much only affects programs that have a real time interface (games, mostly). It shouldn't have an impact on a conVersion utility.

Re: OT - MOO2 Sound Effects?
Well, this is odd... all the files are coming out corrupted, and half of them are size zero! ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/confused.gif)
