How doth he lie to thee? Let me count the ways:
1) "Fair Play" - such a public announcement is only fair play if this is a lie and I haven't contributed as requested.
2) "Gracious" - I'm an @$$, and most don't even need me to point out how ridiculous an accusation of courtesy aimed in my direction would be.
3) "Contribution" - Again, most probably don't me to spell out how desperate my situation is - and how badly I need to trade. No contributing here.
Now, noble Ermorians, if you have anything of worth to offer (other than the unavoidable war with your neighbors), we will happily trade with you. We like to trade. You don't? Then go eat chrysanthemums!

Congratulations to Atlantis by the way, who managed to outmaneuver me completely and catch me unawares from the water.

You don't realize how close a thing that battle at my capital was, Graeme. I only just finished researching Enchant 6 (Grip of Winter, Arrow Fend) the turn you stormed my castle! Yay counting on the AI to cast the spells I wanted?

Well, both capital sieges were fairly close, and had I not had an E9 blessing, those ancestor vessels wouldn't have stood a chance. Now it would be nice if commanders would make sure that they actually bless themselves and other sacred commanders when told to bless five times. I had four or five celestial masters there that were not blessed throughout the battle. It was close enough that a few more lightning bolts might have made the difference.

Re: Fractures - LA Game. We're going!
A sad tale of woe from Mictlan. A peacefully employed bus driver was providing transit services to several _ahem_ young ladies, when a ****ing huge lightning bolt burst from the clear blue sky and burnt him to a cinder. Okay, so we actually don't care very much about the driver, but we had a soft spot in our hearts for those girls, who perished when the subsequent driver-less bus smacked into a tree, bounced off, burst into flame, fell off a cliff, and then plunged into a lake.
We are miles and miles away from the Arco bastages who caused this mayhem, but we hereby declare war on them, as a symbolic gesture, if nothing else.
DEATH TO ARCO!

Atlantis is endeavoring to make true your statement at this moment. Unfortunately, our own bus drivers seem equally vulnerable, so some of the transportation plans for getting to the front have had to be rethought.

Re: Fractures - LA Game. We're going!
We apologize for inconvenience caused by our lightning. It was aimed at Atlantis that is ravaging our lands, any other casualties are just unfortunate collateral damage. Well, one way or the other, it's not like we can stop it now, so we'll all just have to learn to deal with exploding buses, exploding trees, exploding... well, exploding everything more or less. And hopefully everyone explodes equally, so that shouldn't be a problem, really. Apart from Atlantis, who should explode more .
